I like the new ‘War on Plastic’ campaign. It’s an upgrade on the current wars we are fighting, like ‘drugs and terror’ supposed conflicts, forced upon us. This war has meaning though and could make a big difference for our planet. It’s one we have to fight. To win it though ultimately – we have to tackle the source, which is polluting our political, economic and social environment. We need to eradicate and phase out our use of oil fast! and find alternatives that don’t smother us. For once let’s fight a war that is worth fighting for.
