Now this is a test

Hopefully everyone West side is ok. Shocking news that the death toll could reach over 600. If ever there is an example of extreme global warming this is it. Greece had very similar fires in the summer and moorland across the UK simmered away consistently throughout the heatwave. God knows what the winter is going to bring. It’s interesting that the Dawlish line was closed about a week ago suffering more damage and we are not even out of November (fine month don’t forget the 29th). What with a country suffering political confusion and myopia, an environment out of control and Everton due to face Liverpool in a couple of weeks it seem there is little hope. As the great Graham Taylor once said in the cutting edge documentary, Do I not like that – ‘Now – This is a test’, never have words been so true. So let’s hope we are all up for it.
